1. 그 맑고 환한 밤중에 뭇 천사 내려와
그 손에 비파 들고 다 찬송하기를
평강의 왕이 오시니 다 평안하여라
그 소란하던 세상이 다 고요하도다

2. 뭇 천사 날개 펴고서 이 땅에 내려와
그 때에 부른 노래가 또 다시 들리니
이 슬픔 많은 세상에 큰 위로 넘치고
온 세상 기뻐 뛰놀며 다 찬송하도다

3. 이 괴롬 많은 세상에 짐 지고 가는 자
그 험산 준령 넘느라 온 몸이 곤하나
이 죄악 세상 살 동안 새 소망 가지고
저 천사 기쁜 찬송을 들으며 쉬어라

4. 옛선지 예언 응하여 베들레헴 성중에
주 예수 탄생하시니 온 세상 구주라
저 천사 기쁜 노래를 또 다시 부르니
온 세상 사는 사람들 다 화답하도다

   저 놀라운 빛 지금 캄캄한 이 밤에
   온 하늘 두루 비춘줄 너 어찌 모르나

   평화의 왕이 세상에 탄생하셨도다

   주 믿는 사람 마음에 큰 은혜 주셨네
   이 죄악 세상 사람 주 오심 모르나
   주 영접하는 사람들 그 맘에 오시네

4. 오 베들레헴 예수님 내 맘에 오셔서
   내 죄를 모두 사하고 늘 함께 하소서
   저 천사들의 소식 나 기뻐 들으니
   오 임마누엘 주 예수 내 맘에 오소서

2. Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming
