On Saturday, February 21st a Mardi Gras Parade will take place at the Parish House from 1 PM to 3 PM for kids ages 2-12. Details to follow. Friday, March 5th: World Day of Prayer On Friday, March 5th a World Day of Prayer service will take at the Zion Lutheran Church, 6307 4th Avenue. Information: 718-492-5474. Please help the day laborers by buttering rolls The next tentatively scheduled roll buttering will take place next Sunday, February 8th after service. The buttering rolls, to help the day laborers in Bensonhurst, takes place every other Sunday at the Parish House and is a joint project with Bay Ridge United Church. Pray for... Anna Schroeder, who is in the hospital; Fran Erickson, who slipped on ice and is recovering; the Rev. Bob Peterson, our organist, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease; Eugene Ruotolo at Jewish Geriatric Center and Alice Hightower recuperating at home from surgery.
